Mary Wells

Senior Account Executive

Mary Wells specializes in transportation planning for tollway, turnpike, highway and transit agencies. Over the years, she has developed capital and operating financial plans for a wide range of government agencies. She has extensive project management experience with a technical expertise in toll systems integration (i.e., the integration of hardware, software and toll collection equipment). In addition to transportation work, Mary has experience with economic development projects at the city and municipal levels, including work on comprehensive plans, real estate feasibility studies, redevelopment projects, fiscal impact analyses, and market analyses. A strong quantitative background and long history of planning work allow Mary to serve clients with diverse needs.

Mary’s education includes a M.B.A with a concentration in Finance from DePaul University, a M.A. Urban Planning and Policy with a concentration in Economic Development from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a B.A. with a concentration in Political Science from the University of Chicago.

Mary started with Metro Strategies in March of 2008. She will be working on transportation plans and projects for a variety of clients.
